DON TANNENBAUM |
Don began his career at Warner Bros. in 1976 and, other than a short stint at Lorimar Telepictures in 1987, made Warner Bros. his home for 40 years.
Don currently serves as Principal Consultant and Owner with his own company, Tannenbaum Entertainment Consulting, where he provides advisory services to clients within the film industry. He continues to serve the industry as President of the Inter-Society. In his role as Senior VP, Sales Operations & New Technologies he was responsible for the management of the North American distribution sales system and technology strategy in relation to distribution initiatives. Don’s began his career as a sales trainee and booker in the Washington DC branch and subsequently was promoted to sales in NY and then the Boston office before heading to the studio. In addition to serving with the Inter-Society, Don represented Warner Bros. on the Member Representative Committee for The Digital Cinema Initiative. Don was recently inducted into the ShowEast Hall of Fame, for his many contributions to the motion picture industry. Don’s other interests are philanthropic. He and his wife Linda founded the Neuro-Immune Disease Alliance a nonprofit to support medical research, physician awareness and education for complex chronic diseases such as ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Lime and Autism. Don also actively supports both Variety, The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. |
